FRESHFARM's food education program in partnership with DC Public Schools

FoodPrints is an education project of FRESHFARM that integrates gardening, cooking, and nutrition education into the curriculum at partner elementary schools. Watch the FoodPrints video to see our program in action.

The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship

Today marks the official start of a great new partnership with Whole Foods Market in Washington, DC! Our friends at Whole Foods are generously providing all the dry goods (olive oil, vinegar, flour, salt, etc) needed to supplement what we grow in our gardens and purchase from our farmers markets. In addition, Whole Foods Team Members will be volunteering with FoodPrints throughout the school year. We're looking forward to a wonderful year together.

We have two other fabulous partnerships to tell you about! TODAY, eat at any Chipotle location in DC and tell the cashier you want your purchase to benefit FRESHFARM Markets! We'll get 50% of all sales today when customers mention FRESHFARM.

And coming up on September 29th, Urbana will be hosting a benefit dinner to support the new FoodPrints program at School Without Walls Francis Stevens! Tickets are VERY limited - look for more details in a blog post this week.
